First Day of Classes
Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!
We hope you have had a lovely summer full of adventures, time with family and friends and some time to rest and recharge. We are excited to welcome back all of our returning students and their families and offer a warm welcome to our new students and families.
Here are some important dates to mark in your calendar.
WELCOME BACK and ORIENTATION DAY!
Friday, September 4 from 10:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m. Welcome Back and Orientation Day at Bel-Aire School! This is a Drop-In event and families are welcome to pop by the school at any time between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to meet teachers and homeschool facilitators, enjoy some classroom and outdoor activities, check out our school and grounds, meet up with old friends and make some new friends! Everyone is welcome! There will be street parking, limited parking in the school parking lot and alleyways and lots of parking available in the neighbourhood. Please do not park in front of our neighbour’s driveways or garage doors (alleys). We really try to keep our neighbours happy to ensure positive community and school relationships and partnerships.
HOMESCHOOL FACILITATORS!
Your Homeschool Facilitator for the homeschooled portion of your program will be reaching out to you between August 31 and September 4 to set up your first meeting. This initial meeting is an opportunity for your Homeschool Facilitator to connect, review your Learning Plan with you and offer support. It is an opportunity for families to ask questions, relay information or concerns and showcase your homeschooling plans for the coming year.
