Dear CBE Home Education Families,

Thank you for all of your participation, support, and energy at this year's Winter Celebration!  We had over 400 people between the afternoon and evening shows cheering on our students.  Thank you to the 75 students who contributed their talents, passions and art!  Thank you to the families for their contributions to our community potluck - 12 pizzas, delivered to the school was a first for all of us!  A very special thank you to all of the staff, volunteers and backstage crew (Callum, Theo, Hamsa) for handling everything from Set-Up, Clean-Up, Decorations, Potluck, Seating, Programs and Donations to the Calgary Food Bank and Calgary Families in Need.  Also, THANK YOU to Mr. Paul for ensuring the performers were ready! From Sign-up, to rehearsals, stage production and direction, everything went smoothly and smiles were in abundance.  This tradition is proof that it really does take a village to create a safe, welcoming and caring community.

We will continue to collect donations for the Calgary Food Bank and Calgary Families in Need this week. 

You may have also heard that it is Pyjama/Comfy and Cozy Week at Windsor Park School.  This means you will see students in their favourite track suits, onesies and Pj's through the week here.  

Please check out the Lost and Found Table in the main hallway because we will be sending these items to charity in the New Year if they aren't picked up this week.  Lots of expensive water bottles and clothing to be found there.

Students who attend Windsor Park School will not have classes from December 22, 2023 to January 7, 2024 for Winter Break.

Homeschool Facilitation Days (No classes at Windsor Park School) - January 31, February 1, 2, February 7, 8, 9 - Please check the Parent/Guardian Calendar  to see when classes are not in session due to Homeschool Facilitations.  Parents/guardians will be able to sign up for their facilitations with their homeschool facilitators in January.  

STE(A)M Day! - January 26 - This is a registered event for Homeschoolers and Shared Responsibility Students.  Students must be registered to attend and the deadline to register is January 11, 2024.  Please find the link to the form here --> STEAM DAY REGISTRATION .

Homeschool Reimbursements are due between Nov. 1, 2023 and April 1, 2024. - Please submit your form and receipts in one PDF to your Homeschool Facilitator. See form under Resources.
